Audi’s best -selling car in the last quarter was electric

You have to get up quite early in the morning to take off the Audi Q5. For a long time, the Audi sales crown in the US and for good reasons-like gas luxury crossover Go, it’s hard to find better.

It is not every day that an electric vehicle can take the highest sales position of the brand, let alone beat a lasting powerful sales like the Q5. But that happened for several reasons worth kicking.

First of all, there is an obvious answer: Tax credit EV, which ended seven. 30. Adding various discounts and incentives that Audi and its sellers could throw, and probably it was an excellent value.

But then? In fact, IT and SQ6 e-tron are two of my favorite luxury EVs that were tested this year. Although they lack suggestions of strikes of older Audis (the German brand works on it), their range, fast charge, software experience and performance are quite first-class-and every Audi fan who wants to maintain the vibration could also be broken.

In the US, the Q6 and SQ6 e-tron models are powered by a 100 kilowatt-clock battery. The basic e-tron Q6 starts at $ 63,800 before the target fee and offers up to 321 miles of range and 322 horsepower in one rear wheel shape. Decide for dual motor drives all -wheel drives and get up to 456 HP and an estimated rage of 307 miles.

The e-tron e-tron only AWD gains up to 510 HP, but it is 275 miles. Cars have a maximum charging of 270 kilowatts, so they should go from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes. As a fan of this ev I am glad to do it well. But now I’m wondering what to do next. After all, the car is made of German and the tariff could hit. Audi spokesman said Insideevs that the 2026 model year prices were published and there are no plans for their change, but the brand “monitors the situation”.

Then there is the fact that the leasing credit EV is gone. This could suppress sales for these models if Audi does not maintain motivation and discounts. Since this writing, there has been a national bonus customer agreement $ 6,000 for leasing or buying a new e-tron Q6, which is good by November, but we will see how long it takes.

Above all, I hope that Audi SUV fans will give an e-tron Q6 shot. They would probably like this thing if they did. We will know at the beginning of next year, when it can maintain momentum or not.
