Review: I tested the electric trick of the Viribus SC5 Fat Tire and it is more capable than I expected

When I first saw Viribus SC5 electric trick, I think it would be a budget auxiliary trick with basic features and limited power. Before that, they tied the e-triky Viribus and while it was done, it was a relatively basic and input level of the model. This time, however, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the SC5 brings more than just the basics.

He has now tested it on various errants, grocery runs and occasional rides around. After logging in a few decent kilometers on it, here I learned that this bike with an electronic bike, and why I think it is a strong story in the growing world of electric tricks.

The power that holds in the real world

Let’s start with the engine. The SC5 uses the 500 W front hub engine (750W peak), and although it is not on paper, it is not a power supply, in fact it feels very strong on the road. Using the throttle, I was able to swim comfortably at 20 miles / ha even I even got up to 24 km / HS with a light pedal assistance.

The front hub engine is less elegant than a rear -mounted engine mounted in the shaft style that controls the rear axle, because it may mean that too much torque causes the front wheel to slip, but the SC5 seems to have found a good solution at a modest torque that prevents the wheel from being spinned. However, if you go to a full stain in wet leaves or in other free terrain, you can bet that you will get a little burn -out tires, so be aware of it.

The modest 500 W engine also means that a tricycle is not a rocket ship, but it may not be. I have found that acceleration is smooth and predictable what you want, from a tool -focused trick. The throttle of the throttle is removable, but I left it during the testing, because let’s be honest, it is nice to have the immediate go-can when you are loaded with a load.

I do not have many hills that would test it on a flat Florida, so I can’t tell for sure how to climb anything super steep, but the front mounting rental for the engine won’t do it on steeper hills where you have less weight on the front (and less traction).

Large battery, decent range

The 48V 15Ah (720 Wh) battery is mounted on the lower lower season for better weight balance and is increased in more than 38 miles of scope on the throttle, which is true if you go to Goowhat more slowly. If you are constantly shooting at a speed of 20 miles / h, you will not have a range of 38 million. Few people have long distances on electronic tricks; They are more common for a quiet ride and 20 miles are a very quiet ride.

And just remember that high ranges are absolutely possible at sweet speeds and the tricks love sweet speeds to stay stable again, which brings me to the next section.

Surprisingly ride comfortably

Stability and comfort are important for tricycles and one of the big sales points of the trick is that at low speeds it bites better stability, because you do not make it to balance or lay your feet down. However, you must be carefully rotated at high speeds, as sharp rotation at high speeds can make top.

I tend to ride with my seat below for a tricycle than on the sale of bikes, the lower center of gravity is less tippy, but of course you do not want to go, it gives you problems that the pedal is trying. However, if you do not, do not hesitate to treat it like a low rider and drop down.

Comfort is one of the largest sales points of any electric records and this really leans. The seat is wide and wet, with a supporting backrest that makes the rides of the line feel relaxed instead of stiff. Front Suspension Fork is not the most advanced suspension I’ve ever seen, but helps to smooth out wounds when you swim on the sidewalk Aven or the sidewalk.

And the 20 × 3 ”fat tires are doing a lot of heavy lifting when it comes to absolutely shaking roads. I drove on the grass, gravel and cracked streets of the city, and the three -round managed it better than expected.

Exit

One of my favorite parts of the SC5 ride was use as a mini freight carrier. I loaded a back basket with food, bags of equipment and even a few super heavy portable power plants and I had no problems. The evaluated capacity of the payload is £ 395 (rider plus cargo) and felt stable, even though I was necessary. The weight limit of the rear bin is £ 110, which I have absorbed, and that was fine.

I also really like the basketball has the two wings that come over white, and provide you with support of flat beds for transporting larger items. I am not saying that you should move the washing machine on the three, but at least you have the opportunity to do it with the cold flat setting of the basket.

Yeah, and there is even a back door in the trash, which is just another great feature you can see. This is very rare on tricks, but that means you don’t have to lift so high enough to load something heavy there.

The last thoughts

Viribus SC5 does not try to compete with top cost tricks or powerful wheels. He knows what it is: a solid, accessible and surprisingly capable electric tricycle for everyday riders. I would say it is doing quite well.

It has the power that most people need, ranges that facilitate errands and freight capacity to replace a lot of local cars. Is it perfect? No. It is a bit bulky to save and like any trio, it takes a small turn. Mechanical disc brakes are more susceptible to maintenance than hydraulics, especially on heavy tricks that stretch these cables over time. It is also an engine distribution and lacks some of the more refined functions on electronic tricks with higher dollars. But for $ 1,299, it has your value!

If you were on a fence about trying an electric trick, the SC5 is a fantastic entry point. It is stable, comfortable, practical and fun to ride. And if your goal is to get out of the car and more environmentally friendly to the series (without giving up usefulness), it can be your fully accessible ticket.
