The European great new electric car is just around the corner

  • Skoda released another trailer for the upcoming Vision concept on Electric Wagon.
  • Visions on Previvied Electric Octavia Wagon built on the new architecture of Volkswagen Ev.
  • The concept debuts on September 8 in IAA 2025 in Germany.

Škoda is currently building the hottest European new electric vehicle, Elroq crossover and is working on something that could become even more popular. Europeans love cars with long roofs or real estate, as are known in the UK, but it exists that it can be available with electricity. Therefore, the arrival of the Octavia electric car in Europe is a big problem.

Europeans also love Octavia, which has been popular on the continent for decades and within a few generations. Now it will be Avaible as an EV for its next generation and a combination of the success of the name tag, simply smart touches and the growing Apterit of Europeans for electric vehicles should ensure its success.

Skoda began to tease the concept that the Octavia electric car will look at. This is called the vision of O and will be introduced on September 8 in IAA 2025 in Germany. The older trailer has shown a side profile of a vehicle that does not seem to be different from what we expected, and maybe more sloping back glass in a fast style that gives it a slightly sporty look than today’s combustion model.

The new trailer reveals the lower part of the vehicle from the front three quarters and one thing is immediately obvious: it has an increased group will. This could mean one of the two things: this concept is supposed to look at the scout variant of the Octavia EV, or the model will simply sit above the ground in the hope that it will also bring people who otherwise have other Boucht crossover.

We can also see that the car has a relatively high line of belts and a comparably small looking greenhouse. The front also looks a couple, so it looks a bit like a large luxury car with a longitudinally mounted engine under the hood. As a result, it will look very significant and also ensure that there is enough space in the front trunk.

It is mainly about practicality, but none of its current EV offered the front trunk. The new Octavia could and should change it because it does not run on the Volkswagen MEB platform, which is the basis of all compact and medium -sized electric cars. It will be based on a MEB replacement called SSP, which brings numerous improvements and helps reduce costs by approximately 20%.

The SSP will not only replace MEB, but also PPE, the EV VW premium platform, which currently supports models such as Porsche Macan, Audi Q6 and A6 e-tron. VW says this platform also allows greater differentiation and individuality for products from different brands, which is great to hear, given that equivalent cars based on MEB have virtually identical specifications that bear the badge, and everyone feels the same.

According to Oliver Stefani, the head of Skoda design, “with Vision O, we are constantly developing our modern solid design language, increasing its emotional attraction and improving our identity of our brand.

There is no mention of why it seems to be so high, but Škoda Klaus Zellmer, CEO, said exactly that it would “emphasize the future trajectory of real estate models”, which could mean that all new brands of brands will have a similar transition. One detail of the design that we will certainly not get into production is the rear guaranteed rear doors that you can see in the old trailer video.

We do not know when the electric Octavia will enter production, but it will be among the first VW vehicles on SSP. He should debut sometime around 2027 and be sold together with the burning of Octavia at least at the end of the decade.
